Named after its founder, William B. Hartsfield, the Port hosts over 80 airlines, and is a major fight hub of the South East U.S with destinations worldwide. Atlanta Intl. services all classes of aircraft and operates four ILS asphalt runways, making a total of 8 ILS runways.
Hartsfield is located 10 minuets South of Down Town Atlanta and can be accessed from Interstate 285 on the Camp Creek Parkway, Interstate 85, and Interstate 75.
The centrally located, North and South terminals provide quick transition to the 5 concourses via the Airport's underground-automated people mover, connecting all concourses with the main terminals, consists of nine, four car trains operating on a 3.5-mile loop track. The time between trains, at any 13 stations, is approximately two minutes.
Air SeaTac Virtual operates 24-hour arrivals and departures from Concourse "C", Gates 1 thru 36, ticketing and passenger reservations located in the North Terminal. With employment opportunities available, inquiries should be made through the Human Resources Office.
